It's actually a REALLY good documentary! I had no idea what the pop music industry was like back then, and how crooked it was. (Is? I don't really know.)

My tastes in music were kind of all over the place when I was a teenager. I grew up on Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and the Stones, and then I got into Nirvana and our Lady Peace and such. I didn't start listening to a lot of pop until I was older. I'm still not much of a fan, but sometimes I fire up a little BSB or Spice Girls on Spotify for the nostalgia factor.
